Why did I stop posting on Chicoholic?
Hey, Chicoholics! I hope you are all doing well. Do you miss me?
I'm going to talk about what's been going on with me and why I haven't been posting.
Saddle up. Western fashion is making a revival.
Lately, we’ve been seeing a lot of western influences in fashion. I first saw this trend on Rihanna (a fashion icon) in 2016 when she wore Manolo Blahnik ‘Desert Denim’ boots that totally resemble assless chaps. This trend has now made its mark in modern fashion. As I look at fashion moments from Coachella 2018, I notice that assless chaps have also made their appearance there, along with sparkly cowboy boots and saddle bags.
Beyonce slay Coachella, started her own sorority, and is the queen of Wakanda!
If you we’re lucky enough to go to Coachella in Palm Springs, California this year and had to opportunity to be graced by the presence of the Queen “B” (or you just watched the performance on youtube’s live Coachella feed like I did) then you probably have seen Beyonce slay Coachella in many stunning looks. The queen was giving you variety of dynamic aesthetics in her onstage ensembles. And of course, it wouldn't be a Beyonce show without a little political statement.
